Hi! I’m Brig Sunil Chadha (Retd)

An ex NDA veteran of more than 3 decades of service to the nation with dedication. I served in the Regiment of Artillery & Army Aviation and acquired wide & varied experience during this journey of reward and belonging.   

 As an Artillery Officer, I commanded a Rocket Regiment & two Artillery Brigades. I served with Army Aviation as a Helicopter Pilot & was the Senior Flying Instructor for Army Aviation. I served as the Senior GTO & the Technical head of the GTOs in 11 SSB, Allahabad. I have worked extensively in the Selection System, including writing several papers & modifying the GTO series for induction of women candidates.
I know this – "SSB is not difficult – all it takes is a structured and clear approach !"

I founded SSBraves, a forum committed to combat the misinformation about SSB testing which is rampant in the environment.

The SSB process is one of Quality not Quantity – SSBraves will coach few at a time, but with a "high degree of personalised attention & quality".  

The tribe of Myth Busters will continue tirelessly to shatter myths, gossip and misleading guidance in the environment.

My vision is simple - "leaders not hackers" ! To transform the preparation process from one of “looking for hacks & shortcuts” to one of “preparing better leaders” suitable for selection.

I owe this to the coming generation as much as to the Indian Army which has been my home for most of my life!

My Mission is to serve the nations future by creating leaders and not leadership - hackers.

I intend to support committed and passionate youth to become officers and serve the nation with quality leadership and pride.

I also intend to contibute 50% of all earnings towards providing basic education & healthcare to 10,000 underprivileged children.

Leadership, GTO, Helicopter Pilot

* 3+ decades of service as an ex-NDA Artillery Officer. 

* Vast experience such as a Group Testing Officer (GTO), Helicopter Pilot & of commanding a Rocket Regiment & Two Artillery Brigades.

* Senior GTO of 11 SSB at Allahabad.

* Instructor GTO for training of GTOs.

* Designed, Critically Assessed & Directed the construction of various GTO tasks.

* Part of National Level Studies with the DRDO & DIPR on the selection system of officers.

* Responsible for modifications to the selection system for women officers.

* Appointed as the Reference GTO for the Standardization of all Army, Navy & Air Force GTOs in India.

  3. I will spend an Hour daily on appropriate physical exercise.
  4. I will discourage gossip regarding how to prepare for SSB as it surely damages.
  5. I will not seek / share my perceptions of the SSB as they always mislead.
  6. I WANT TO BE SELECTED ! So I will not ask for others’ ideas of the SSB and allow misinformation to distract me.
