Who Are You Going To Learn With
35+ Years In the Army
Bigadier Sunil Chadha, an ex-NDA Artillery Officer who has served in various roles during his 37 years of service. He commanded a Rocket Regiment & two Artillery Brigades. He has in all seen operations in Siachen, Kargil, J & K and with the IPKF in Sri Lanka. He is a Helicopter Pilot & Flying Instructor. He has a passion for teaching, and has taught at School of Artillery and Army War College besides as an instructor GTO.
As an instructor GTO, he was responsible for the training of trainee GTOs at Selection Centre East, Allahabad. As Senior GTO of 11 SSB he was the go-to man for all matters related to SSB. He designed, critically assessed & oversaw the construction of various GTO tasks. He was part of several National Level Studies under DIPR on the Selection of Officers. He was responsible for the modifications to the Selection System for the induction of Women Officers. He was the reference GTO against whom all GTOs of Army, Navy, & Air Force had to standardize their assessments.
He now trains potential officers as an attempt to give back to the society a miniscule bit of all that he has received from the nation. He lives by the edict that “an assessor may be forgiven if he mistakenly recommends an underserving candidate, but it is inexcusable if the nation is denied the services of a deserving candidate.”

The SSB does not differentiate in the assessment of freshers or repeaters. Our programs are structured for both freshers and repeaters. We take into account the experience of the repeaters, and build on it.
PPDT – The Screening Intensive program is to help you through the entire PP&DT process including picture perception, story formulation & structuring, story writing, narration and the discussion. This is the basic program which ensures that you are Screened In - and can attend the SSB.
Fish markets – All fish markets have a different purpose. We deal with each one of them, starting with their respective purposes, what is being looked for by the assessors, and finally how to perform during each fish market appropriately.
GTO – At SSBraves we take you through the fundamentals & theoretical aspects first. Thereafter, we deal with each task of the entire GTO series independently. We lay special emphasis on the command task the lecturette, the group planning exercise and all the fish markets.
Interview – We take the candidate through how the interviewing officer will structure the interview. Each candidate is then helped individually with respect to the expected flow of the interview questions. We conduct assessed mock interviews for the candidate to build self confidence and to improve shortcomings.
Psychology – Our Psych program takes the candidate through the entire psych series, including the TAT WAT, SRT and the SD. We put our candidates through complete full Psych Tests exactly as they will be administered at the SSB. Each candidate’s effort is then assessed and each is then individually guided.
It is a misconception that one needs to go to a ground and exert himself physically to make himself fit for the SSB. The Interview and the psych testing in any case do not require outdoor efforts The GTO series uses tasks created in the ground as tools for assessment. No amount of ground work can guarantee successful completion of a task. The GTO observes the manner in which you approach the tasks, and your behavior during the tasks. Understanding how to react to these tools is more effectively taught online than in a ground as proven by our successful candidates.
